This policy explains what personal information Flat Fee Realty collects through this website and through the applications we operate, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to flatfee.realty and to the internal applications we provide to our agents and staff.

Information this website collects

This website does not ask you for personal information. There are no forms, no newsletter signup, and no advertising or analytics trackers on these pages. If you follow a link from here to one of our market websites, that site's own privacy practices apply.

Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information when a page is requested — IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. This is used to operate and secure the site, and is not combined with any other information to identify you.

These pages load the Roboto typeface from Google's font service, so your browser requests those font files directly from Google and Google therefore sees your IP address, as it would for any file hosted elsewhere. We receive nothing back from that request and it is not used to identify or track you.

Signing in with Google

Some of our applications let authorized agents and staff sign in with a Google account. When you choose to sign in this way, Google asks your permission and then provides us with a limited set of information:

• your name
• your email address
• your profile picture, where you have one
• a unique identifier Google uses for your account

We request only these basic sign-in permissions. We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google service, and we cannot read or modify them.

Of what Google sends, we use only your email address, and only to confirm who you are and decide what you are allowed to see. The name shown beside you inside our applications comes from our own staff list, not from your Google profile. We do not store your profile picture or your Google account identifier.

We use this information for one purpose: to confirm who you are and determine what you are allowed to see inside our applications. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Cookies

When you sign in to one of our applications, we set a session cookie so you stay signed in as you move between pages. It contains your identity and permissions in a signed form and expires on its own after twelve hours. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business — for example our website host and our email provider — and only to the extent they need it to perform that service. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

We do not build or keep a profile of you on our servers. Signing in places a signed session cookie in your browser and nothing else; there is no stored account record to delete. Who may use our applications is controlled by a staff list we maintain ourselves. Removing someone from that list prevents any further sign-in, and the session they already hold expires within twelve hours. We may separately keep ordinary business records where the law requires it.

Your choices

You can revoke our access to your Google account at any time from your Google account permissions page. You may also ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by using the contact details below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act.

Children

This website and our applications are intended for adults conducting real estate business. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to affected users directly where we are able to.
